Diagnosis: Carcinoma
Cholangioscopy is used to assess an indeterminant bile duct stricture in a 52-year-old male. Targeted biopsies using SpyBite™ Biopsy Forceps demonstrated infiltrating carcinoma suggestive of gallbladder origin.
Diagnosis: PSC A patient presented with PSC. An ERCP using the SpyScope™ DS II Catheter was performed, and targeted biopsies were taken to determine if the PSC had developed into cholangiocarcinoma.
Stephen Kim, M.D., Los Angeles, CA
Diagnosis: PSC
A 38-year-old man presented with ulcerative colitis with new onset jaundice. MRCP showed mild subtle intrahepatic duct strictures and a dominant stricture in the distal CBD. Cholangiogram showed diffuse severe strictures involving both left and right intrahepatic ducts, common hepatic duct and CBD.

Diagnosis: PSC
Sri Komanduri, M.D., Chicago, IL
Diagnosis: PSC
A 32-year-old male with intrahepatic PSC suspicious for cholangiocarcinoma had biopsies taken using SpyBite™ Biopsy Forceps, which helped confirm a diagnosis of chronic inflammatory infiltrate consistent with PSC.
Diagnosis: Cholangiocarcinoma Pre & Post RF Ablation
Pancreatic Duct Findings
Isaac Raijman, M.D., Houston, TX
Diagnosis: IPMN
A 70-year-old male is diagnosed with IPMN using direct visualization.
Stephen Kim, M.D., Los Angeles, CA
Diagnosis: Main Duct IPMN
Kenneth Sigman, M.D., Birmingham, AL.
Diagnosis: IPMN
Direct visualization was used to check IPMN margins and help determine where to start the Whipple. Originally, a regular Whipple was going to be performed, but the mapping showed they needed to do an extension of the Whipple to mid-pancreas.
